Pachner is an expressive display typeface, which is based on a typedesign that Prof. Franz Pachner taught in the seventies and on my father's interpretation of it in calligraphic studies with a broad nib in 1978. I took the winter semester 13/14 in the graphic design class of Fons Hickmann as a chance to reinterpret the original typeface. However, I did not only redefine the already given glyphs, but also supplemented minuscules, numerals and special characters.
The uploaded images represent the state of this project after one semester. However, as I still want to improve and expand the "Pachner" typeface, it's important to note, that this typeface is still a work in progress.
